CATHOLIC TRANSCRIPT
CONNECTICUT - The Knights of Columbus Museum in New Haven is featuring a new exhibit of more than 90 paintings of crowned Madonnas from St. Peter’s Basilica that are being shown outside of the Vatican for the first time. The exhibit, "Full of Grace: Crowned Madonnas from the Vatican Basilica," which opened in time for Mother’s Day and runs through Jan. 8, is a rare collection of miraculous images of the Blessed Mother with the Christ Child that reflect the devotion of the faithful to the Virgin Mary through the centuries. The museum is located at 1 State St. and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free. Information is available at (203) 865-0400 or kofcmuseum.org. [link]
