NEW YORK - In an in-depth interview David LaChapelle talks about his first encounter with Andy Warhol at the age of seventeen and how the meeting helped launch his career, how movies influence his work and how the Sistine Chapel fascinates him given the degree of sexuality displayed in a church. La Chapelle says his photos capture a moment in time where there was a before and after. His photos are set up as events with even the girl riding a Zebra as really happening and not a trick of post production, albeit utilising a stuffed animal. [Watch Video]
