DAILY MONITOR
UGANDA - The Anglican Church has commenced plans to redevelop the Uganda Martyrs’ shrine at Namugongo into a modern facility to offer comfort to pilgrims and other visitors. Bishop Stephen Mwangi from Nakuru Diocese in Kenya asked believers to emulate the martyrs for their inspiration to the church. “Whenever I visit this place, I can never go back the same because it renews and inspires my faith. We need to be witnesses because Christ our Lord assured us of protection unlike in the secular world where one has to seek for security to be a witness,” said Bishop Mwangi. [link]
